Lisa Andrews

Lisa Andrews

Hello, I'm Lisa Andrews, owner of Scrapbook Circle. I have been married to my awesome husband for over 17 years and have 3 children ages 9, 11, and 14. When I'm not busy scrapbooking I enjoy reading, hanging out with my family and baking treats.

I started scrapbooking over 12 years ago. Like so many, I was inspired to start scrapbooking after the birth of our first daughter. I have always had a interest in photography (ever since getting my Fisher Price camera when I was about 8 years old) and I loved organizing those photos in those bad news magnetic albums.

Scrapbooking is such a wonderful way to celebrate life and I feel blessed to be able to preserve our family memories through this fantastic hobby!

celebrate a design team choice

Today I want to talk about embracing the “mistakes” on a layout.  Or maybe another way of thinking of it is, embracing when things don’t go as planned.  Let me show you: Do you see how on the left there are holes where my sewing machine “sewed”?  Well, I was merrily sewing along after my […]

Rebecca Keppel

Rebecca Keppel

In a former life I was a corporate attorney living in San Francisco. After my daughter was born, my husband and I decided to move our little family to Arizona. We are still adjusting to the extreme heat, but overall we love the family atmosphere here. In 2007 our little guy was born. They are now 5 and 1/2 and almost 4. I have been a stay at home mom for the last 5 and a half years. I started scrapbooking about the same time our daughter was born. What started as a way to create a baby album for my daughter turned into much more.

Although I have been "journaling" and taking tons of pictures my whole life, it wasn't until I saw scrapbooking as whole that everything clicked for me and the obsession began! Besides recording memories and playing with fun product, I love to learn new techniques and learn more about photography. My favorite way to add texture and dimension to my projects is by sewing (either hand or machine) because I love the homemade, unique touch it adds. Besides making layouts, I love cardmaking and making gifts for family and friends. I enjoy blogging projects and photos --come say hi, if you have a chance: http://www.myclutteredcorner.com/

I am so thrilled to be on the Scrapbook Circle Design team and work with Lisa's AMAZING kits.

Die Cut Backgrounds and Process Video

One of my favorite types of layouts to make are ones where you die cut a background from white cardstock and then fill the open spaces with lots of different patterned papers and embellishments.   I love using Scrapbook Circle kits for these types of layouts because the main kits and add ons always include […]

Heather Leopard

I was born and raised in the Lone Star State and live in Cypress, Texas with my family – hubby, 2 daughters, 1 bonus son, and 2 rescue dogs. I lead marketing and thought leadership initiatives for a major tech company but my real passion is playing with paper, glue and scissors. I love to scrap the daily adventures of my family and I aim to capture the essence of the little details of whatever it is they are doing. My signature style includes lots of pattern mixing, matching, and layering in fun and interesting ways. I also design for Shimelle.com.

One Item Wonder: Studio Calico Frames

The Studio Calico frames are a fun take on the Polaroid trend. Diana and Ursula put the frames to use on recent layouts in uniquely different ways. Let’s take a look. Ursula layered photos and the frames, but then added texture with stitching and patterned paper. The frames make creating a grid-style layout easy, too! Diana used […]

Jenni Calma

Jenni Calma

Hello! My name is Jenni Calma. I retired from Architecture to stay at home with my two children. I started keeping my first “scrapbooks” in college which were my studio sketchbooks. I used them more like smashbooks - that started my love of combining journaling with photos, drawings & paper. My father’s obsessions were cameras & photography and he was adamant about recording family history and heritage. I think I am doing the same thing, only with patterned paper and embellishments!

My husband and I met in Architecture school and have been best friends for more than 23 years, married for 14. Aside from my craving to create, I am a typical Virgo, a little OCD, (except in my craft room where chaos is welcome), an avid reader, Pinterest addict, a lover of dogs, peanut butter (preferably with chocolate), cardinals, red wine, anything Italian, and my children’s laughter.

We also have two dogs - Mabel is a goldendoodle and Luna a German shepard. Scrapbooking is my creative outlet and stress reducer. A friend introduced me to paper crafting in 2002 and I haven't stopped since. I spend my days as a high school teacher and fill the rest of my time with family and crafting. During the summer months you will find me out by the pool, on the porch with my nose in a book, camping, or in the craft room. I am so excited for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing team and look forward to the next year!

Neela Nalam

Neela Nalam

I am married to a wonderful man and mom to two adorable boys aged 11 and 5. I grew up in Bangalore, India and moved to Santa Barbara, U.S.A. about 15 years ago. I am lucky to have lived in two very beautiful places with absolutely fantastic weather. I am an engineer by profession and I enjoy working as one. Scrapbooking is my passion and my creative outlet – no rules and algorithms that need to be followed. I was introduced to scrapbooking by one my colleagues when my older son was born and was completely smitten by it. Since then I would create on and off. But when I discovered the world of online scrapbooking, there has been no looking back.
