MM Idol Challenge #4

Wow, this was such a fun challenge from Making Memories >>> create 3 items that carry a theme and tie the event together. I thought about doing a birthday party theme, but then decided to go for an Easter party theme since that is coming up in a couple of weeks and there are so many fun things that can been done.

First, I designed the invitation from a MM plain chipboard bunny. The party info is on the back of the bunny. Placed the bunny plus grass and some chocolate eggs in a cellophane bag and made a coordinating topper.
Next, I created an organizer where I could store all of my recipe and game ideas for the party along with the guest info (addresses and phone numbers.) This will be great to have out at the party to help us remember all of the games we are going to play. It will also make repeating the party next year easy since all of the info will be organized in one place.

The 3rd item is this really fun Easter basket that I made out of 4 other MM chipboard bunnies. I am really happy with how this turned out.

Having Fun with the Making Memories Idol Contest!

I’ve been participating in the Making Memories Idol contest for the past few weeks and it has been so fun to create something new for each weekly challenge.

Each week, the public gets to vote for their favorite project and then the favorites get to move on to the next round. This week the challengers will go from 25 to 15, so every vote will count!

If you are interested in voting, you can sign up HERE. Voting is each Monday and Tuesday (ends at 4 pm Mountain Standard Time.)

Here is my project for the most recent challenge: (you can click on the image for a bigger view)

This was paper from Basic Grey and some basic items like buttons, stickers, rub-ons and ribbon from my stash. The assignment was to create something using these basic products. I am really excited about how this turned out!

Also, I used some of the paper, mask alpha and bling from our upcoming April kit for the 1st challenge. Take a look >>>

Hope you are looking forward to the April kit because it is so much fun to work with!
