Paradise Cove – Traveler’s Notebook Pages

By Jenni Calma

September 7, 2017

Hi there friends!  Jenni here to share a couple pages of my Traveler’s Notebook that I created using the new Scrapbook Circle custom line ‘Paradise Cove.’

The new kit comes with a Traveler’s Notebook with two different patterned covers, that coordinate with the kit; I chose to use this blue graphic pattern as the front of my notebook.  I used the Alpha Printables and layered them onto a piece of paper I watercolored, also adding the ‘2017’ circle from the printable sticker sheet.

While planning out a little of this notebook, I painted several loose circles and other geometric shapes in coordinating colors of watercolor.  I thought it would be a good way to tie all the elements & pages together while adding the watercolor texture & feel.  I also used machine stitching as a common element on the pages.

I utilized almost every piece of the kit on each spread; the patterned paper, the tags, the washi tapes, die cut stickers, puffy stickers and photo corners,

I used a similar layout idea for this page, using one side for photos and the opposite for journaling, patterned paper and embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by the Blog today.  I hope this gave you some ideas on how to use the new kit from Scrapbook Circle, as well as some ideas for that Traveler’s Notebook you haven’t finished form the summer!  I’ll be posting addition pages later in the month, so be sure to come back!

Thanks again & have awesome week!
