Paradise Cove – Bible Journaling

Happy Sunday! It’s Kelly here today sharing a Bible Journaling entry using the Paradise Cove Full Bundle. I have decided to start working my way through the book of Job, and the verses I have highlighted come from chapter 1. (vs. 20) “Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, (vs.21) And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

I thought the cactus found in the American Crafts Memory Planner Stickers were perfect for this passage because even though cactus are prickly, they are beautiful to look at. I felt like this was a great illustration of Job’s ability to worship despite his suffering.

I used the coordinating Traveler’s Notebook as a devotional/prayer journal to accompany my studies in Job. I liked the idea of using the smaller, matching cactus in the notes that go along with the Job 1 journaling entry to show that they go together.

Thanks for stopping by today!
