It’s All Good – Take 2 with Jennifer

Hello Scrapbook Circle friends!

It’s Jennifer today sharing one of this month’s Take 2 projects, and I am emulating the amazing Lisa Andrews. The project I chose is one that caught my attention not only because of the awesome design but for the subject matter. I love that Lisa created a project based on books she has/is/was reading rather than the normal photo of family and friends. Her photos prompted me to use a screen shot of a text string between my son and me that took place last month.

This project began with a piece of white card stock that I splattered with blue watercolor paint. Once the paint was dry, I began layering my photos and embellishments.

I used the blue watercolor to paint the Vicki Boutin stickers as well as the Thickers to keep the color scheme consistent and give the all-white embellishments a pop of color. I also painted the strips of patterned paper along the top and bottom of the layout.

For the embellishments, I used the PinkFresh washi tape and rubber pieces along with the puffy stickers by Jillibean Soup. Along the right side of the photos I stamped the date with the AC DIY roller stamp. To set off the meme, I used the PinkFresh banner and a piece of the WRMK paper fringe.

The finished layout is fun and documents what I consider a hilarious story that my son will someday find humorous.

Thank you for visiting today!
