Design Team Choice with Jennifer

If you’re anything like me, you end up with tons of scrap pieces of paper lying around after working on projects. Rather than sweep them into the recycle bin, how about using them to create a one-of-a-kind background?

Today’s project does just that – I literally scraped together a bunch of scraps and started sticking them down. The result is this layout that I think has a fun vibe with all of the colors and patterns – and who doesn’t love those Snapchat photos!?

This project was put together from the bottom up – I began layering paper and washi at the bottom of the white card stock and kept moving upward.

Pinkfresh Studio is one of my favorites; so I had no problem using all of the patterned paper, washi tape, and embellishments included in this month’s kits.

I chose to print the photos with my Instax printer to keep with the fun vibe of the papers. Once those were in place I adhered my title beneath them and then machine stitched over the top.

I finished with a few embellishments around the photos and called it good.

The background is so busy that I didn’t feel the need to add too much more.

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you are inspired to create!
