1 Product 2 Ways – Scrapbook Circle Exclusive Acrylic Words

Hi friends!  This last week of June, I asked Jennifer and Kelly to use the Scrapbook Circle Exclusive Acrylic Words that are part of the June “Sunshine Days” kit.  Just check out this lovely inspiration!  Here is Jennifer’s project:

“Challenging myself to find unique ways to use product is something I love to do. This month I used the acrylic “details” sentiment from the main kit as a stamp. The great part is that I get to use it twice – you’ll also see it on a layout later in June. To create the stamp, I inked the back of the acrylic shape and stamped a piece patterned paper from Crate Paper. Next, I used a watercolor brush and went over the top with water to blend the ink and make it more vibrant. Next, I used a black marker and outlined the sentiment in order to cut it out with my Silhouette and PixScan mat.”

Continuing with more sunshine, Kelly creates this dramatic layout below:

“I kept my layout pretty simple, and used the bold black acrylic words towards the center of my page to keep it balanced.  They help to draw the eye towards the subtitles and journaling.”

How inventive is Jennifer’s idea? Such an amazing way to use embellishments in a way you wouldn’t think of…and be able to use over and over??  And Kelly’s contrast in color and the graphics tying together the black cursive letters and wavy patterned paper are amazing!

Such lovely projects this week…hope they inspire you to document your summer memories!  Be sure to keep up with more new and info at the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!
