Hello there!  Today, I have the pleasure to share with you projects from Jung & Rebecca!  I challenged them to use these bright vellum sentiments from Elle’s Studio, part of the June “Sunshine Days” kit in a fun, creative way.

Jung used them to decorate her planner for the month of June.

“I loved the bright colors of the Elle’s studio vellum circles, so I thought it would be fun to put them on a summer themed project. We are officially on summer break, and are going on a family vacation in June, so I wanted to document summer in a planner spread! Vellum can be tricky to adhere, because of it’s transparent nature, so I’ve got a few tips for you: use a stapler, sew the vellum to your project, or place a little glue where it’ll be hidden under another embellishment.”

Jung created the perfect planner spread to kick off summer!  And what’s great about vellum on a planner, is that you can still see the lines of the calendar underneath.

Next, Rebecca created a scrapbook layout to showcase the Elle’s Studio embellishments.

“Here is my 1 product 2 ways. I used the entire pack of Elle’s Studio embellishments on one layout. I found that the circles fit perfectly inside the squares of the Crate Paper Spring Break paper. I also used all the buttons from Crate Paper collection to “hang” the vellum circles on my layout. And then I mimicked the circles by punching my photos into a similarly sized circular shape.”

I adore Rebecca’s project!  All the circles contrast nicely to the geometric background of the patterned paper she used for the base of her page.

Great job girls!!  Hope you are inspired to use some of these embellishments, colors or techniques in your summer projects!  Be sure to connect with us over at the Scrapbook Circle of Friends FB community!

Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!
