Take 2 with Rebecca

Take 2 is a fun series on the Scrapbook Circle blog where the design team scrap lifts an older design of theirs or of another team member. I always forget how much fun it is to lift your own older designs until I get assigned the Take 2! Here is my layout from February 2013. I actually found this layout on Facebook when Facebook re-shared it with me in my Memories.

As soon as I saw it on Facebook I thought about doing another grid layout with small circles. I found the cut file I used and cut it out of white cardstock and layered it over more white cardstock just like I had done in the original layout. This time though I cut the circles out of a 12 x 12 sheet without a border around the outside so I chose not to add the machine stitching and let it have a cleaner look.

There were so many perfect embellishments and stickers and die cuts in the Scrapbook Circle Take Note kit that fit right inside the die cut circles.

I also punched several circles out of various patterned papers from the Take Note kit. The exclusive Scrapbook Circle stickers that are…circular lol…fit right inside too.

I am very happy with how the second version of this design turned out and I love comparing the two sets of photos of my kids.

Have you ever scrap lifted yourself? We would love to see your first and second versions on the Scrapbook Circle of Friends Facebook page!

🙂 Rebecca
