1 Product 2 Ways – Large Die Cut Tags

Hello and welcome to our weekly post using 1 Product 2 Ways!  This week we are using the Vicki Boutin tear out tags that are in the May ‘Take Note kit.  I asked Rebecca and Jennifer to take on this assignment and here is what they created!

Rebecca made a traditional scrapbook page full of photos and lots of info!!

“I used the tags as the focal point of the design of my layout. I used small photos from a contact sheet for 2 of the tags and typewritten journaling for the center.”

I love Rebecca’s composition that although it is a simple arrangement, it has such a huge variety of embellishments and layers of her story!  Speaking of layers, Jennifer’s tag project is next!

“Creating quick mini albums is one of my favorites and these tags are perfect for just that! With the base for the album all ready, it was quite easy to embellish and add photos. It began as a family album and then I realized there were dogs in each of the photos, which prompted the name “Dog Family.” I love that I was able to create a quick and cute project!”

How cool is that idea for a mini album!  And backing the tags with patterned paper is just perfect…I love that she used all black and white photos!

Great job you talented girls!!
