Sisters, a take 2 post
Hello Scrapbook Circle friends!
Today, I have a take 2 post featuring the April Our Story kit. This month, I was inspired by Neela. I am a big fan of white space, and minimalistic scrapbooking, so I was immediately drawn to her layout. I love using white cardstock, and a colorful border as well, so I loved her layout.
Here is her layout:
Here is mine:
I did another 8.5 x 11 in layout for my girl’s baby album. I love this photo of the older girls adoring their baby sister.
To create my layout, I cut down the feather patterned paper to 8×5 x 11 inches. I added a trimmed down piece of white cardstock on top, then stitched along the edges. Next, I layered some pattern paper behind my photo creating a layered mat, and adhered it to the bottom right of my layout with foam adhesive. I added my title with the Pinkfresh Studio alpha stickers, and added some very basic journaling. To finish off my layout, I embellished with stickers (The banner and word stickers are Shimelle from the March Happy Place kit) and gold splatters.
I love how this layout turned out! I encourage you to embrace negative space as well! Happy crafting friends!
