Cardmaking Tip with Rebecca

Hey Scrapbook Circle fans! Rebecca here with a cardmaking tip! Very often, the Scrapbook Circle add ons include one or more 6×6 patterned paper pads. But, this month there was an embellishment add on and a planner add on and neither had the 6×6 pad. I loved the planner add on so I wasn’t that concerned about not having a 6×6 pad this month. Usually I use the smaller format papers to create cards and I did want to create a card with this month’s kit, so what to do? My tip is to find a patterned paper with a small design like the triangles here:

Those little triangles are so tiny they look like they could have come from a 6×6 pad! And that’s the idea! To find a design which is not to big or overwhelming for a card front. I added some stitching on the patterned paper circles that I cut out, lots of die cuts and a few phrase stickers and that was it! So next time you are trying to make a card without a 6×6 pad think about what papers you DO have with those smaller designs!

Thanks for stopping by!

🙂 Rebecca
