Be Real: Dream

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a layout involving an all day/everyday occurrence in my house: my dog sleeping! He sleeps 18-20 hours a day and always in the cutest and silliest positions. I have hundreds upon hundreds of pictures of him sleeping (I can’t resist), and I haven’t used many in layouts.  I decided to challenge myself to use them for this page!

To create this page, I cut a file from The Cut Shoppe out of white cardstock. I filled in the circles with the GORGEOUS  marble Pink Paislee patterned paper in the January Love Notes kit,and adhered it to a white background. White on white is one of my favorite looks with intricate cut files! It adds so much detail and dimension without distracting from the rest of the page.

Next, I added my photos! I matted them with the B side of the remaining Pink Paislee paper, and again with the fun sheet of dictionary paper included in the kit. For my title, I used the “dreamy” phrase from die-cuts in the Hot Stuff add on. I cut the “Y” out of the word so it just said “Dream”, which I thought was a perfect title for a layout about a sleepy pup! I added a few stickers, and the layout was complete!

Thank you for joining me today!
