Happy New Year everyone!!
I love the start of a new year; new beginnings, resolutions, new planners!  To kick off 2017, we are featuring the Project Life Ephemera from the new January kit, “Love Notes.”  Jennifer and Rebecca have created fantastic projects for our inspiration!  Jennifer made a traditional scrapbook layout with luscious layers of paint, foil and the featured die cuts.
“The florals in the Project Life die cuts were what inspired my water-colored background. After I painted the background, I used a stencil to apply polka dots with Heidi Swapp Reactive Screen Ink. Once that dried, I used my Minc to apply gold to the dots. I tore a strip from the right side of my painted paper and backed it with the Fancy Pants Designs patterned paper, which I sewed together. Next, I “stuffed” the PL die cuts behind the torn edge to break things up a bit. I really like how everything kind of peeks out from behind the background paper.”
The gold foil combined with the colors of the die cuts she chose are gorgeous with her black & white photo!
Second, we have Rebecca, who made the four lovely cards below…
“I decided to use the Project Life die cuts to create a card set and was pleasantly surprised that I could make several different themes of cards including, Hello, Valentine/Love and Birthday. I decided to do each card a different shape to show how versatile the pack is.”
Fabulous job ladies!  Makes me anxious to re-stock my stash of cards after seeing Rebecca’s ideas and Jennifer’s color combinations are just stunning!
