Hi there! Today, we are going to wrap up January’s ‘1 Product 2 Ways’ post with projects from Neela and Tessa. Tessa’s darling daughter lights up her sweet layout below using the ‘Love Notes’ kit.
“I used almost all of the Crate Paper embellishments on a mini album (which you can see in the exclusive content .pdf if you are a subscriber!). I was left with just the prize ribbon and one button. I pulled my scraps from that same mini album and made more rosettes and prize ribbons with the Crate Paper stickers. Now my leftovers aren’t left out, and I’ve used up bits and pieces that I normally wouldn’t!”
I don’t know which is cuter, that sweet muffin or the embellishments!! Neela uses a grid to create this gorgeous page below, keeping things light and lovely with vellum overlays!
“These hearts totally determined the subject of my layout. I don’t seem to make enough layouts with me and my husband together. So I used these hearts as an inspiration to make one with photos of the two of us. I decided to use my favorite design approach – grids. This was a perfect way to include multiple photos and highlight the hearts. The colors of our clothes were also perfect with the gorgeous colors of the hearts. I also love how well all the colors in the kit gel well together. I chose the green background as a bright contrast to the hearts and that makes them stand out more. I hope you will also use these hearts to document someone or something you dearly love.”
I love being able to count on a grid for a well organized layout design, it is so simple and yet so effective. The black and white patterns paired with all the pink and hearts in Tessa’s page makes me want to sort through photos of my daughter at that age! I hope our post today has filled your Tuesday with love and inspiration!
