Hello! It’s Kelly here today sharing a couple of shaker cards made with the packaging from the Illustrated Faith CHRISTmas Tabbies found in this month’s kit.

I took all of the Tabs out of the packaging, and put them in something else 🙂 …and tore as much of the cardboard away from the plastic that I could.

I filled the plastic piece with sequins/pom poms, and lined the edges with glue. I added a few stickers to the center of a plain white card before adhering the sequined filled plastic over top.

I cut a rectangle out of a piece of patterned paper from the 6×6 pad found in the Hot Cocoa Add-On. The plastic packaging measures  3 1/4 x 3 1/2, but I only have a square coluzzle cutter. The 3rd square from the top measures 3 1/2, so I cut the right side of the square. I used a ruler to measure to 3 1/4, and made a mark with a pencil to cut the other side. This is just how I did it, but I’m sure you could trace with a pencil…and cut out with scissors.

I slipped the opening over the plastic on my card, trimmed off the edges, and then decorated the outside.
