Hello!  Today we are featuring the Pink Paislee, Birthday Bash sequins from ‘The Weekender’ October kit.  As if the collection isn’t happy enough, the collection name of ‘Birthday Bash’ is the perfect introduction!  I asked Neela and Allie to take these sequins and show us what the had!  Here is Neela’s stunning layout and , description of her process!

“I loved the colors of the sequins included in the kit this month. I have also been wanting to make a layout where the sequins are placed on a circle on some machine stitching around the photo for a really long time now. I was very excited to try it out and I love the outcome. I selected strips of papers from the Dear Lizzy paper pad that went with the colors of the sequins to back my photo. I also used the Paige Evans take me away paper and bits from the Simple Stories papers to back the photo. I placed the white phrase Thickers from the take me away collection on the stitched circle. I used the white on white scheme with the stickers to let the sequins shine.”

Allie made an engaging, dynamic layout using lots of colors & papers, with the sequins sized perfectly for the patterns she chose.  Her page below shows her bright, happy design!

“I used the sequins to create a fun and focal border on my page! I chose the sequins that coordinate with the patterned papers I chose, and used an adhesive runner to adhere them in a row. I also added a few sprinkled throughout the page for added interest!”

I love what the ladies created and the diversity in those layouts!
