Three Ways to Watercolor

By Rebecca Keppel

The main Scrapbook Circle kit in September includes several fun Amy Tangerine Watercolor Tags with resist patterns on them. There are probably about a billion ways to add color to these tags, but for the sake of time, I have three of my favorite ways to add watercolor effects to them!

For this layout I used one of the watercolor tags covered with Tim Holtz Distress Crayons.

After wiping some of the pigment away with a baby wipe, you are able to achieve a really soft watercolored look.

In addition to the Distress Crayons, I tried watercolor cakes and Inktense pencils. I filmed a little video to show the differences between these three mediums on the tags.

How do you love to apply watercolor effects? What mediums are you using with the Amy Tangerine Watercolor tags? Please share in the Scrapbook Circle of Friends Facebook page. We would love to see!
