Fall Back Friday: 5th grade layout
Today I have a “fall back Friday” layout to share. My layout is about my daughter’s first week of 5th grade. Back-to-school always has me falling back into a routine and getting ready for fall. We are all back on a schedule (ugh, those early mornings!), and even though it’s still 100 degree weather here in Texas and technically still summer, going back to school always signifies the beginning of fall for me. How about you guys? Are you ready for a pumpkin spice latte yet?
To create my layout, I punched 2 hearts each out of various pattern papers from the kit and add-on. Then, I machine stitched them onto white card stock, laying them directly on top of each other. I “fluffed” the heart on top to create dimension. I lined up my photos and added them in a row directly on top of the hearts. Then, I added my title and journaling. To add interest, I added two triangle pieces that I cut out from pattern paper to the top right and bottom left corners. I finished embellishing my layout with stickers, some stamping, and gold ink splatters.
I hope you guys share how you get back into fall, and I hope you have a fabulous day!
