Designer’s Choice with Jennifer

Hello Scrapbook Circle friends! It’s Jennifer here today sharing my Designer’s Choice layout using the September Shine On Kit.

This month I decided to use the kit to decorate my curriculum planner for work, which is something I do every year. As a paper crafter, it only makes sense that the planner I use every day be embellished.

To begin, I cut one of the patterned papers from the Paige Evans collection and glued it to the front cover. I was very generous with the adhesive and used a brayer to ensure the paper was evenly pressed down.

Next, I used the exclusive Scrapbook Circle cut file for September and sized it to fit the cover. The cut file became skewed a little, but it still looks great.

Once the cut file was glued to the cover, I used a patterned paper that I cut to a smaller size and centered near the top of the cover.

I finished the cover by adding my name with the Lawn Fawn puffy alphabet stickers, the WRMK stickers, and Dear Lizzy washi tape. You will also notice the gold polka-dotted washi that is from the August Kit.

My final touch was to add the gold washi to the long edge of each page in the planner for the first semester of the school year. This helps me better track where we are in terms of scheduling and grading deadlines.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are inspired to create!
