Hello everyone!!  Another Tuesday, another product from the September ‘Shine Bright’ kit to feature.  This week I asked Jennifer and Allie to share their creations using the We Are Memory Keepers Accent Stickers.  They both came up with two very girly layouts that you will adore!

Jennifer used an 8×10 photo and cleverly layered her embellishments on top of it.  Here are her thoughts:

“The WRMK Urban Chic Accent Stickers are so fun and sassy! I knew I had to use them in a way that would not take away from the photo while remaining a focal point. First, I deactivated the adhesive on the stickers with EK Tools powder. Next, I cut apart a pocket page and filled the two slots with the sequin stars, a heart from Pinkfresh, and finally the WRMK stickers. To seal the pockets, I used my Fuse tool to create a seam and keep all of the goodies in place. Finally, I attached the pockets to the layout by stitching on side edges, which allowed me to adhere it to the project without the messiness of glue.”

Allie’s page is also a vertical format with a smaller photo and an overlay of this month’s Digi Cut background.  She describes her process and thinking below:

“This month I used the stickers to inspire the title, colors, and photo used in my layout. I thought the bright, girly colors were beautiful with the Pink Paislee paper, which I used as a background with a cut file. The purple tones in the paper and stickers were perfect for a picture of Rapunzel and I! I was excited to use the bobby pin stickers in reference to Rapunzel. Finally, I used the stickers to create my title!”

There are lots of diverse colors and patterns in the September kit, but both Creative Team members used many of the same pieces in very different ways!  Jennifer’s stitching and her embellishment pockets are amazing.  Allie cleverly used the striped paper underneath the die cut hexagons for quick varied color.  Lovely work ladies!
