Hi there and happy Friday!  On Wednesday, we introduced out August Guest Designer Heather Adams.

Today, we are going to learn a little bit more about her as well as see the final page that she showed us the background makings of!  I asked Heather to give us a little insight into her design process and style.  Here is what she said:

1. How do you make time for scrapbooking with a busy schedule…do you wait until you get the creative bug, or set aside specific scrap time??
“I like to try to do something creative every day. Scrapbooking is such a therapy to me, and I always forget how much I love it until I sit down and start creating. I don’t usually set aside specific times to scrapbook, but I normally create at night before going to bed.”
2. What do you do when you lose your mojo? Do you have a favorite YouTube channel or Pinner that inspired you?
“I love watching julimakesthings on YouTube. Her Project Life process videos are so fun and inspiring. Usually after watching one of her videos, I get the itch to go create… which I think is a fantastic motivation!”
3. In 3 words, describe your personal scrapbook style!
“Clean, bright, whimsical”

This is the layout that Heather made for us using the August ‘Snapshots’ kit.  She shared a step-by-step process of how she created this background on Tuesday, which you can find HERE.  Here are a few more close ups of her page.

I love the contrast in her geometric background with the messy stitching.  It helps bring a little rustic edge to the page along with the Pink Paislee badge and wood grain alphas.  Being able to combine so may combinations of patterns and colors is such a talent and inspiring to see.

Thanks for stopping by the Blog today and sharing a piece of your Friday with us!  Stay tuned for more from Heather later in the month and be sure to check out our daily ABC Back-to-School posts on the Scrapbook Circle of Friends Facebook page!

Have an amazing day!
