Printable Wishes

Who is loving the July printables as much as I? The bright colors are so fun and work so well with this month’s kit! I love them so much, in fact, that you will see them on another project from me later this month. However, today I am using the numbers 1-3 to document my daughter’s 12th birthday.

I really wanted this layout to have a whimsical feel to it. I began by printing and cutting out the numbers from the July printables  followed by “Make a Wish” cut using my Silhouette and an installed font.

Next, I played with the many embellishments and began placing them on the page. I wanted them to flow in a way that matched the direction Abby was blowing out her candles. Once the embellishments were down, I punched confetti from the Elle’s Studio papers and dropped them on the layout. Yes, dropped. If you are looking for random, sometimes you just have to throw things on the paper.

Once the confetti was glued down I added some of the puffy stickers to finish things off. As usual, I decided to stitch on the layout after the fact, so my final step was sewing the confetti, title, and the photo for that added pop of dimension.

Everything used to create this layout is available in the Scrapbook Circle Store. I hope you are inspired to create something today!!
