Taking the Crown Kit: Planner Style
Hello, Scrapbook Circle friends! Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you the Taking the Crown planner add-on kit, which I used in my yellow Color Crush personal size planner:
I adore the C’est La Vie collection by Pink Paislee, so when I saw that the washi booklet was included in this kit, I was very happy! I love having a variety of washi strips to work with – no pressure to try to use a whole roll, and the expense is minimal for so many designs. I used the washi strips to section off the days of the week on my planner spread.
Another kit item I love is the American Crafts sticky notes. I am a BIG list maker. I only have so much real estate on a planner page and appointments and (let’s be honest) pretty stuff just can’t be displaced by all my list-making. Rather than fill my planner pages with lists, I write out some of my task lists on sticky notes. I can attach the sticky note to the day that I plan to take care of that list. If I need to put the list on my computer monitor or in another planner, that’s easy to do, too. And the kit comes with so many sticky notes that I am set for awhile!
And that pen! I love a good crown pen, and this one is darling! So fun and bright! Did you order the Taking the Crown kit? Have you used it in your planner? I’d love to see pictures! Share with us in our Scrapbook Circle of Friends Facebook group and I’ll be sure to check it out. Have a great day!
