June Embellishment Add-On Mini Album

Hello! Jennifer here today sharing a mini album I created using the June Embellishment Add-on Kit.

Main Edit

When I got the add-on kit I knew right away I wanted to use it for something other than a layout. I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock into 3×4 pieces and choosing which patterned papers I wanted to use. I tried to keep the album somewhat subdued to focus more on the photos.

For the cover, I used the Bella Blvd. adhesive chipboard from last month’s kit and painted the adventure¬†sentiment with black watercolor paint . I glued it to the patterned paper with Mono and some foam to give it dimension. I also punched a hole in the Pinkfresh acetate sentiment and topped that off with the charm from the planner kit.

On the inside pages, I layered different items from the add-on kit while still trying to keep the overall design simple.

I continued the theme throughout, using the Bella Blvd. enamel hearts and more stickers from Amy Tangerine and Heidi Swapp.

The last two pages are my favorite. I love that I was able to incorporate one of the bags from the kit’s packaging and tuck a bit of journaling into it. The last step (which was an afterthought as usual) was to stitch on each of the pages for added dimension and also to keep things in place.

I used a basic binder ring from the school supply aisle at the grocery store to keep everything together.

Thank you for stopping by today and happy creating!
