1 Product 2 Ways – Pink Paislee Fancy Free Ephemera
Hi everyone! This week’s featured product is my personal favorite in the May kit, ‘Here & Now.’ It is the Fancy Free Ephemera from the Pink Paislee collection designed by Paige Evans! It has lots of colored acetate pieces and other die cuts. Design team members Jennifer and Kelly created two very different layouts using the ephemera.
Here is what Jennifer had to say about her interpretation:
Kelly has a slightly more minimalist layout as far as layers go, but no less colorful or detailed. I love her handwritten journaling and the monogram letters at the bottom.
I asked Kelly to describe her inspiration and process using the ephemera and here is what she said:
“I did a search on Pinterest for ‘gallery walls,’ as this was the kind of look that I wanted for my page. I found a few walls that used an assortment of shapes that cascaded down the wall at an angle. I accented the angle by stitching patterned paper in the opposite corners.”
Jennifer’s black and white photo with all the pattern and color is a perfect contrast. I love that Kelly used a trend in home décor as inspiration for a scrapbook page. Thank you ladies for all your clever ideas and stories with us!
