April Challenge: No Pocket? No Problem!

The challenge this month is to create a traditional layout (not a pocket page) using 3×4 or 4×6 pocket cards. Inspired by the “Sending You Love” patterned paper in the main kit, One Fine Day, I cut out one of each size and created this layout:

1 with footer

The “today” card became part of my title (Today Bows). It was my favorite card on the entire sheet of paper, so I that’s where I started when I began pulling items from the main kit and add-ons to make my page.

3 with footer

I used a 4×6 card like background patterned paper. The yellow bokeh print was just the burst of color I needed.

4 with footer

Are you a fan of pocket cards? Ready to add one or two (or more!) to a traditional layout? There’s still time to play along for a $20 credit to the Scrapbook Circle store. Find all the details for entering on the original challenge post here. Good luck and happy scrapping!
