On an Angle

If you every get in a creative rut, I highly recommend changing up perspective! I am usually a very linear scrapbooker, so the simple act of working on a tilt makes a huge difference for me!

It’s funny because the center piece is still pretty linear, but the fact that it is on an angle gives the layout a much more whimsical feel! I also had fun with negative space on this layout. I had punched various size circles from the Amy Tangerine paper and was left with a strip of paper with three punched out circles. Instead of recycling, I layered it over the solid paper and filled each circle with a sticker.

Again, I really love the playfulness of this look. How do you change things up when you’re stuck in a rut?

🙂 Rebecca
