Hello, Diana here! I am excited about these “Best Of…” posts that we are doing this month. It’s fun to look back over my time here at Scrapbook Circle and reflect on my favorite kits and projects. Here are a few of my favorites in no particular order from 2015:
LOVED making some Valentine treat bags for my family–rediscovering my love for velum. This epic story really was that for my son, setting a personal record for himself in the Long Jump–SUPER excited I was there with my camera to catch not only his jump but his face too! My favorites about this page are the large title and picture! One of my favorite parts of this picture is using double pictures (two pictures of the same thing).
For this layout I used a larger photo–something totally different for me. I also loved using the different textures for embellishments. This is one of my all time favorites just because of the texture work of the sewing, painting and paper scrunching. Takes away from the fact that the picture isn’t perfect! But the picture sure brings back great memories of a soccer game watched! Another all time favorite for the background work–this was super tricky! I had to figure out how large to cut the back ground so that when I spaced it out a little it still fit on the page! And lastly a layout about me–I don’t normally like the pages about me. But this one made it to my favorites because of the randomness of the background–it’s really all over the place with it’s shapes and colors–but guess what? That’s me in a nutshell–random and all over the place!
I sure hope that you have enjoyed my trip down memory lane with Scrapbook Circle. Stay tuned for more installments of “Best of” from my fellow designers.
