Easy Way to Use Digital Cut Files

My absolute favorite way to use digital cut files is to use them to make a 12×12 layout. The easiest way to do this is to bring your cut file into the Silhouette program (or whatever program and device you use to cut with) and enlarge to create a background. I enlarged Jamie Leija’s amazing alpha cut file to a 11×11 size and cut it out of white cardstock. Then I pulled out this month’s Scrapbook Circle kit, Tell Your Story. I backed my die cut cardstock with the B side of the Amy Tangerine Finders Keepers 12×12 Paper called Treasure to create this layout.

Then all you need to do is add some strips of patterned paper, embellishments and stickers, a photo and you are done! Lots of interest and details to look at, but a very simple layout to create!

Have you used Jamie’s amazing digital cut file? Share on Facebook! We would love to see!
