We Are All Made of Stories – Day 3
Welcome to day three of our cross-promotion with Neat and Tangled! Check out the fabulous stamp set that Neat and Tangled designed for the October kit, Mix Tape:
To celebrate this creative collaboration, join us here and on the Neat and Tangled blog every day this week for project inspiration and a chance to win a $30.00 gift certificate. Today, Scrapbook Circle creative team member, Jenni, is sharing this amazing layout:
Jenni says, “This stamp set inspired me so much! I saw the books as scrapbooks lined up, each telling a story in a collection of layouts. I have a box of slide contact sheets my father made in his career as our family historian. I thought these would be perfect to tell that particular story. I saw the books in the stamp set as scrapbooks lined up, each telling a story in a collection of layouts.”
“The typewriter paper seemed appropriate for the telling of a story and so I printed my journaling onto patterned paper using a typewriter font. So many pieces of the October kit went perfectly with my theme, the washi stickers from Pink Paislee, especially the one with old fashioned cameras, and the paper with the lines all connected by dots. I love pages that are full of symbolism and show the love for this creative art form we call scrapbooking!”
What a great page! I love the idea of looking at the books as scrapbook albums, and the typewriter font is a great touch. What do you think? We’d love to hear! Leave a comment below (and on all the other We Are All Made of Stories posts this week) to be entered into a drawing for a $30.00 credit to Neat and Tangled.

Jenni I love your layout. It has the fun time travelers feel to it =) I almost thought I was lost in a old library study. lol The edges and layers is perfect and I love the typed journal. I too agree the best stories is one told with images. I like that an image can tell so many different stories.
Lovely layout!
