Designer’s Choice: Offset Diecutting

Hiya! I wanted to share this fun technique I picked up from the lovely Heather Leopard. It was super simple but had such a big impact I think!

I used my Silhouette to offset a diecut from the August kit. Silhouette put out a great tutorial on offsetting found here.

I offset the cut and ran it through my Cameo and once that was done, I just removed the tiny bit that separated the original cut and the offset cut. I backed the finished piece with the B side to the Bella Blvd Illustrated Faith Praieworthy paper from the Mix Tape kit.

I added just a few embellishments and finished it off by stitching down each of the rays with my sewing machine.

See, easy technique! And you don’t have to do the sewing part to get some great texture built up on your pages.

If you try this out, be sure to share it with us! Either in the Scrapbook Circle Facebook Group or on Instagram. Just tag @scrapbook_circle or include #scrapbookcircle

Cheers,
