One Item Wonder: Seven Paper Phrase Stickers

One of my favorite embellishments in the Hello, Hello kit is the package of labels by Seven Paper. The black background and gold foil phrases are a great basic sticker for captions and sub-titles. I asked creative team member Jennifer to share with us how she put the labels to use on a recent layout and she came up with a great tip (that I used myself this month!).

I love the stacked labels, but the detail I love the most is the notched ends. Jennifer says: “I love labels, but I love banners with hatched ends even more. Since the stickers are so long, it’s easy to trim them if you want to or, like I did, cut a triangle out of the ends for a little more definition. It’s easier to do that when the stickers are still on the sheet.”

What a great idea! You could even notch just one end for a variation on Jennifer’s look. Whether you notch or not, the gold foil words are a great page accent and a fun way to bring together phrases that tell the story of your layout.
