June Kit-Inspired Challenge: Where in the World?

The June kit – Have a Little Fun Today – is full of great colors and patterns for summer, as well as airplanes, globes and tickets. Inspired by the travel theme of the June kit, our next challenge is called “Where in the World?”. To play along, create a page about somewhere other than where you live now. It could be a vacation layout, a layout about a place you’d like to visit, or even a heritage layout about where your ancestors are from. Creative team member Jamie has created a page about her travels for your inspiration:

Jamie likes to look for commonalities in the places she travels to, even when they are thousands of miles apart. Jamie says, “For this page, I focused on the great and wondrous walls that I’ve visited: the Berlin Wall, the Great Wall of China, the Vietnam Memorial. It seems kind of odd now that I think about it, a page about walls. But it really connects these historic places.”

I love this idea! And I love how Jamie paired the repeated images of walls with the repeated tags. One for journaling, one for her title, and one for embellishments.

Thanks for the inspiration, Jamie! So, where in the world would you scrapbook? We can’t wait to see your take on the challenge! Here’s how to play along:

1. Create a layout based on the prompt “Where in the World?”. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.

2. Post your layout to your blog, our Facebook page, or an online gallery. Copy and paste a direct link to your post into the comments on this post.

3. You have all month to play! Enter by 9:00 pm Pacific time on Wednesday, July 1st to be eligible to win a $10.00 credit to the Scrapbook Circle store.

Good luck and happy scrapping!
