Q: Tell us about your scrapbook page. What does it mean to you?

A: Very, very rarely I get a photo of my two kids together. Even more rare is that they are both looking at the camera, smiling or enjoying themselves. Rather than fight them to take a picture together, I used two 4×6 individual shots next to each other. Now that they are getting older and more difficult in front of the camera, I need to make do with what I have in order to document the memories.

Q: What is your favorite, go-to technique when creating your pages?

A: I love layering embellishments. Here I use wood veneer and stickers on top of already layered tags.

Q: What’s the first thing you do when your kit arrives?

A: I take everything out and spread it out on my desk, flip through all the fabulous patterned paper and start thinking about photos that I want to use.

Q: If you could design the next Scrapbook Circle project kit (like this one, or this one), what would it be?

A: I love Lisa’s taste. There is no way I could imagine pulling together a better kit than the ones she creates 🙂

Q: What do you love most about Scrapbook Circle?

A: I love how much is included in the kits. Scrapbook Circle kits have a lot of patterned paper AND embellishments. Everything is new and on trend. I love creating with Scrapbook Circle kits because I feel like I don’t need to shop for any newly released scrapbook products – my favorites are always included in the kits!

Q: Tell us about your scrapbook page. What does it mean to you?

A: I actually really liked how my page turned out, I was inspired by a page I saw on Pinterest and then made it my own.  The particular layout on Pinterest had tone on tone layering of card stock, I did that to an extent but just LOVE the colors in the Hello Sunshine kit so I cut the pieces down to layer them one on top of each other.  I think my favorite parts of this layout are the impromptu photos of my kids and their cousins and the little quote next to the title.

Q: What is your favorite, go-to technique when creating your pages?

A: My go to technique for pages is layering without the bulk! On this title alone I have four layers!

Q: What’s the first thing you do when your kit arrives?

A: Honestly the first thing I do when my kit arrives is STOP whatever else I am doing go into the living room where there is plenty of floor space and pull everything out and look at it!  My mind at that point is already designing my pages and creations! 😉

Q: If you could design the next Scrapbook Circle project kit (like this one, or this one), what would it be?

A: If I could design the next Scrapbook Circle project kit it would most likely have to be cards.  I like the idea of designing cards.  For me it’s like a mini scrapbook page.

Q: What do you love most about Scrapbook Circle?

A: The thing I love MOST about Scrapbook Circle is the variety of different things that come in the kits.  There are some things that speak to me right away and I know how to design with them and other times there are things that need to cook in my brain and then I can create with them. But in the end everything comes together and I can make something fun!

We’d love to know your answers to these questions, too! Feel free to comment here or share on the Facebook page. Thanks for stopping by today!
