Be Real: Instagram 2015

April 17, 2015

Hiya and a happy Friday to you! Today I’m sharing my page for the Be Real challenge, which is to either scrap pocket page style or use Instagram photos. Really, it’s a chance to tackle some of those every day photos we all take.

For my page this month, I decided to focus on photos from my Instgram account. I’ve never scrapbooked about this before! I’ve used Instagrams before, of course, but I’ve never include a random smattering of the latest and greatest.

For this page, I pulled 7 Instagram shots from Jan-Mar of 2015. I love the randomness of them and how they really capture what life has been like these past few months. In the prints I made for the page, I left in some of the likes that the photos received and a bit of my captions.

I printed them really tiny and made a grid in the middle of the page, while also alternating in some of the awesome bits and baubs from the Let’s Do This main kit and This Way add on.

I love the Heidi Swapp square transparencies and mini frames! It was fun to incorporate in some of the Amy Tangerine and Pinkfresh Studio die cuts to break up the lines.

I love how this page came together and the everyday story it tells. I will absolutely be doing this more often, maybe even quarterly. It’s a little slice of what life is like right now!
