March Circle Round Up

Hi everyone!  Happy March!?!  How can it be March already?  Despite the time flying past me, the March Kit will make you want to slow down!  It is full of new releases from various manufactures!  My task this month was to attack the Circle Round Up and use it to inspire my layout!

March Circle Round UP

Using the piece of Pinkfresh Studio paper ‘ Rainbow Dance’ for my main background,  I used my Silhouette to cut a simple grid of 1″ circles.  I adhered the base of negative cut out circles onto white cardstock and matched cut circles re-attaching them within the pattern, but with dimensional adhesive.  I thought this would give it some texture, play off the whole idea of the Circle Round Up, and relate to the circles in the Pinkfresh patterned paper ‘Circles.’

I used three of the Pinkfresh wood tags, stepping down from the top left corner across the page.  I also matted my photos on a piece of the My Mind’s Eye 6×6 gold polka dot paper!

I used one of the sweet Simple Stories heart paperclips to tie the two photos together.  For the final idea from the roundup, I used the Amy Tangerine mini sticker phrases, adding them to areas of matching colors in my background.  The Round Up is like a sketch, great direction but only with little more room for interpretation!  Love it!!
