February’s Circle Round-Up

It’s Jennifer Larson, sharing a page I made inspired by this month’s Circle Round-up. Here it is:

The colors immediately inspired me to scrap my kitten, who LOVES water. Here’s the page:

The pink circle was the main hue because it was a nice, neutral background for my little girl.

The teal circle made me think water, of course, so I splashed those elements all around the page, including the water paper in the add-on.

The neutral circle was tan, which wouldn’t work for me–nothing showed up against the pink if it was tan–so I mixed many neutral colors: black, white, and gold, which is the new tan. (I did, but the way, use tan stitching, just for some gentle accents.)

For the add-on circle, two things inspired me: the puffy stickers, which I put on the top and bottom, and the Thickers. I wanted teal to match the rest of the page, so those were the only letters I used. Even though the letters are multicolored, if you want the same color title, you can do this for at least two pages. I speak from experience!

That’s how I used the Circle Round-up for inspiration! Mostly color, but a little bit of meandering to fit my subject. I hope you use the circle Round-up as inspiration for you too–and please share your creations on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page!
