One Item Wonder: Elle’s Studio Cork Embellishments

Cork is a hot trend in paper crafting these days, and the texture and natural color are a great addition to fall scrapbooking. The October kit, On This Day, includes a package of die-cut, cork embellishments by Elle’s Studio that you are sure to love using on your pages. I asked two of our creative team members to share with us how they put the¬†cork to use on layouts. First, let’s check out Audrey’s take:

Audrey paired the cork embellishments with the cork patterned paper for a school-themed layout.

Audrey’s page is like a big, cute cork board hanging on a classroom wall. Such a great idea! The Elle’s Studio embellishments¬†enhance the theme and add texture.

Creative team member Rebecca loved using the cork for a summer-themed page:

I love her technique for attaching the cork – staples! Cork is a soft material, so it easily accepts things like staples or brads, as well as adhesives.

The sprinkling of embellishments is such a cute look!

We would love to see how you use the Elle’s Studio cork! Be sure to share with us on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page. Have a great day!
