moment. a Design team choice.

Life is hectic-chaotic in my house A LOT of the time with people running this way and that.  But when “moments” come a long–even those that don’t seem convenient–I try and take advantage of those!  In those “moments” are the times that bonds are formed.  Sometimes I think I am obnoxious because I take SO many pictures–but this time I only snapped two–they are treasures to me now. This picture was taken in December and one of my uncles suddenly and unexpectedly passed away 3 short months later.  I was SO grateful I took the time out of my hectic day to visit with my family and have lunch AND take this picture.  I look at this picture it brings me joy because I lived the “moment”, it didn’t matter that it wasn’t framed just right, it doesn’t matter that they are wearing different shirts that sort of clash, it doesn’t matter that I see the fountain in the background (in which it looks as if it’s growing out of their heads), it doesn’t matter because you can’t have everything “perfect”.  The perfect comes when we LIVE in the moment embracing all the imperfections because guess what THAT is life!

So my challenge to you is to GET IN THE PICTURES you are scrapping, SCRAP the pictures that might not be “scrap worthy”–some of the best memories are remembered from “imperfect” pictures!

I really LOVED working with the On This Day kit–it’s mix of super fun embellishments and colors helped bring this layout together quickly!  We would really like to see your pages created with any Scrapbook Circle kit–please feel free to share them with us on our Facebook page!

That is what I am doing tonight! Scrapping a picture that isn’t picture perfect, but it’s perfect in that the moment existed and we took a picture of it. 🙂

  • […] seems that a lot of us on the team were inspired by angles this month. Diana add a chevron to her page. Valerie was inspired by this month’s mood board (which features some colorful triangles). […]
