Designer’s Choice | Don’t Think Too Much!

Hello lovely scrappers!  Sometimes I’ll read something that reminds me that not every layout needs to be a masterpiece!  A layout may be just for pure documentation or simply a need to create.  I sometimes have an elaborate theme and symbolism through the title or embellishments, but I do enjoy letting go and just not thinking too much!  I think I literally used a piece of EVERY element from the September main kit “Here + There” and both the “Time Flies” & “This Place” add-ons, except for one.

I didn’t intend to use so many pieces, but like I said, I wasn’t thinking too much! 🙂  My husband pointed out that it was chaotic and I had packed so much into one page, much like us trying to see as much of Dublin as possible in one day!  He was right.  I layered three pieces of patterned paper together for the background.  Then added more patterns withe a piece of 6×6, stickers, printables, rub-ons and embellishments.

I used dimensional adhesive on the strips of photos,  so I could pop my journaling tag into the little kraft bag under them.  I added more layers with the exclusive Scrapbook Circle stamps but used the same color as the paper for a tone on tone effect.

I made lots of random stitches holding all the layers together and switched up patterns from zig-zag to a running stitch.

Thanks for letting me share a little chaotic creation from the September kit.  When in doubt, keep adding layers!  Share your LO’s with us on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page and how you create!
