Be Real | Instagram Contact Sheet

Hey there Scrappers!  This is Jenni, sharing a layout featuring lots of Instagram photos from our summer vacation and the August kit – Island Paradise and Tiki-Torch & Bungalow Add-ons.  Between my husband and I, we took 848 photos on our trip to Britain!  Although some of these photos will make it to full page scrapbook layouts, the majority won’t.  This was one solution for that dilemma!

Three things inspired this page.  First, the chipboard frames from Crate Paper, which made me want to use lots of them; Second, the Scrapbook Circle exclusive cork die cuts; Finally, the fact that I would never be able to scrap all our photos, and there were so many good ones!  I basically printed a contact sheet in Photoshop, using 36 photos.  I wanted a neutral background to mount the frames as a “mat,” and to not take away from the photos too much!

I used the Scrapbook Circle cork labels, part of the main kit, for my journaling and other details, perfect for a trip!  As was the Scrapbook Circle stamp I heat embossed in the bottom right corner.  Obviously, the Heidi Swapp glitter sticker was fitting for the title and I tied it in by adding the Basic Grey fox patterned paper as a border.  It also helped support the heaviness of all the chipboard elements.

I enjoy pages like this, even though a bit chaotic, because they really make you look at everything, like a small album of photos all in one layout!  Next time you have lots of photos to tell a story, why not use them all?  Thanks for stopping by the blog today and have an amazing weekend!
