Cardstock. A design team choice.

Cardstock is a staple in scrapbooking.  I can truthfully say that it has come a LONG way from the beginning of scrapbooking with colors, texture, and weight.  I think sometimes we take it for granted–we want the pizzazz of pattern paper…. So we are talking about cardstock today, I REALLY like my card stock heavy–I need it to hold my stuff!  Texture on the other hand is a little hard to write on but if you plan on just designing then no worries.  There is a way to “get around” the texture thing by just flipping the paper over.  For this layout I wanted the cardstock to shine: DianaWPsych

I ran my kraft colored card stock through my silhouette machine having it cut the triangle background.  I centered my kraft paper over the yellow.  I added adhesive behind a few of the triangles to hold it down while I sewed around the edges for affect.

I then assembled my page just like any other–I really am digging the background with plain old cardstock!  We would really LOVE to see your creations using any Scrapbook Circle kit, please feel free to share them on our Facebook page!
