Meet May’s Guest Designer — Stephanie Buice

Hello, friends! For May, we have a wonderfully talented gal scrapbooking with us here at Scrapbook Circle. If you don’t already know Stephanie, she is an incredibly crafty girl and I personally love her style. I have the honor of working with her on the Bella Blvd team. She is super friendly and a wonderful cheerleader for the art of scrapbooking.

Let’s welcome Stephanie to the team for the month of May!

Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Buice and I’m so happy to be guesting for Scrapbook Circle this month! I live in AL with my hubby Bryan and our son Brady (2). I’ve been scrapbooking since 2001 when I was gifted a kit to scrap my high school graduation. I currently serve on three DTs: Crate Paper, me & my Big ideas and Bella Blvd. I think paper crafting is a blast and it’s my perfect escape from the everyday. I’ve been fortunate in meeting so many awesome women and some of my best friends through this industry, I can’t imagine my life without it or them. Thanks for having me here and I hope you enjoy what I’ve put together.

We asked Stephanie to answer a few questions. Her answers are below:
If I could spend the day scrapping with someone it would be my Aunt Amanda. When I was younger I can remember her letting me have free reign over all her scrap supplies, I felt so special. I love that It didn’t matter to her what I used as long as I was having fun. Well now that I’m older and have a room of my own I’d love to return the favor and let her dig out whatever she wanted and go to town. We’d totally have a blast together!

Right now If I were designing a collection one of the things I would include would totally be lots of different black and white prints of patterned paper. I just like how versatile they are and I have forever loved black and white with whatever pop of color I was in the mood to add. Clean and classic.

The perfect day of scrapping for me would start in the morning and last until sunset. I love the natural light that the day brings and how it makes colors look so much more pure than at night. I can’t scrap in silence so there would be music and one or two friends would make for perfect conversation without too much distraction.

Here is the first layout Stephanie made using the May kit, High Five.
Thanks for sharing your talents with us this month, Stephanie!
