One Item Wonder: Studio Calico Vellum Cards

Vellum is hot once again in scrapbooking, and especially so when it is die-cut with phrases and images. The Bucket List kit features a package of 4×3 and 4×6 vellum cards by Studio Calico. Let’s take a look at how Adrienne incorporated them into her fabulous page:

The cards easily lend themselves to a grid design because of their rectangular shape. Adrienne arranged them beautifully, even using one as a mat for her small photo.

Adrienne layered die-cuts, hearts, arrows, and stamping to add interest and dimension. Each space holds its own special details – I love that!

Notice that Adrienne used stitching to attach many of her page elements. Vellum can be difficult to adhere to layouts in a visually pleasing way because of the transparency of the paper. Stitching is a great technique, as well as hiding glues under other elements like die-cuts. Have you used these cards yet? We would love to see what you’ve done!
