One Item Wonder: Now and Then Patterned Paper

The Bucket List kit features a patterned paper by My Mind’s Eye covered in ornate frames and polka dots. I don’t know about you, but I see a paper like this and think, “It’s fabulous, but do I fill all those frames? Add photos, words? Cut them out?” To take some creative pressure off, I asked creative team member Leslie to share with us her ideas for making the most of this pretty paper:

Leslie made good use of her scissors and fussy cut several of the frames from the paper.

Leslie filled the frames with a variety of stickers, chipboard embellishments, and journaling.

I love how her design flows from the top right corner to the photo by drawing your eye down through the frames. I also love how some elements are popped up on dimensional adhesive so the design isn’t flat.

I’m inspired to cut up my piece of that paper! How about you? Or do you have another take on this pattern? I’d love to see it! Please share on ourĀ Facebook page. Have a great day!

Love how Leslie mimicked the frames in the photo with the cut frames……that is very good. Loved the hearts and arrows throughout. This should be on pinterest
