Good Morning!

I loved all the different alphabets included in the April kits this month:  Bucket List, Things to Do, and Places to Go.

I picked out the sticker alphabet sheet by Kelly Purkey for Basic Grey and the clear plastic letters by Crate Paper to create a customized background for my layout.

First, I used the Crate Paper pattern paper that looked like a piece of paper stapled onto a corkboard. I then stuck down the alphas in rows and stitched them down using my sewing machine. I left the ends of my threads a little long to give some added texture. I also used my mini stapler to put some real staples in each corner. I layered a couple of pieces of pattern paper and punched the tops of them and distressed them and layered a large journaling card and then my photo on top. I stitched all these down at the top and then randomly stamped the phrase #livelovelife above the photo repeatedly. I also layered a Scrapbook Circle printable tag, a couple of chipboard hearts, and the chipboard globe in the upper right hand corner of the photo. I layered my title down at the bottom of the photo and stitched it down. I stuck a tag up underneath the pattern paper and used that to house my subtitle. Below that, I again stamped the #livelovelife phrase again repeatedly until I ran out of ink.

I love creating lots of layers on my layouts. Remember that layers do not have to all be paper! They can be created by stitching, chipboard, alphabets, stickers…it all adds layers and dimension!

Thanks for stopping by today!
