Audrey’s Memory Coasters

This month, some of us on the Scrapbook Circle team got to work with some coasters from Memory Coasters.  This was perfect timing because I was planning on making some coasters as gifts for some family member for Christmas!

The coasters come in sets of 4 and are about 3/4″ high.  They separate in the middle and you can fill them with all kinds of things!  The screw shut with 4 screws on the back, which are included with the coasters.

I started by painting the inside of the coaster with some glittered gel paint.  I painted the edges and sides, but left the circle unpainted so you could see inside.  This gave the coasters a bit of a frosted look, and I love the texture it added!

I used the January “This Life” kit to decorate the inside. I traced the stencil that comes in the coaster for my background papers, and then fussy cut out some doilies from the Crate Paper 6×6 patterned paper pack.  I popped the doilies off the background with pop dots.

Then comes the fun part of filling the coasters with fun things!  I used some loose glitter, confetti punched from patterned paper, and sequins.  I fussy cut out some hearts from patterned paper, too.  Finally I added a 2×2 photo of my kiddos.

These are so so fun to use and there are just limitless possibilities of things you could fill them with!  Check out the link to the Memory Coasters Store HERE:
