Challenge #66: Gift Wrap

One of my favorite parts of gift-giving (besides finding the perfect gift for a special someone) is wrapping the gifts. Papers, tags, ribbons and embellishments are fun to mix and match and attach to gifts of all sizes and shapes. The All is Bright kit is filled with everything you need to wrap and accent pretty packages this holiday season. Our challenge this month is to use your kit and/or papercrafting supplies to make a wrapped gift extra special. Let’s take a look at how creative team member, Sara, approached this challenge:

SC Gift Wrap

Using a brown paper bag, Sara created a bag topper out of patterned paper and accented it with a doily and round, layered embellishments. Simple and stylish!

SC Gift Wrap 2

This gift is wrapped in kraft paper, with a band of patterned paper and glitter ribbon around the center. Layered die-cuts from patterned papers are topped with a tag and a giant Glitz Designs rhinestone. So pretty!

Ready to play along? Here’s how:

1. Create a gift wrap project using papercrafting supplies. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.

2. Post your project to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to this post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted project.

3. Enter by January 1st, 9:00 pm Pacific. A randomly selected winner will be drawn after the deadline.

Not only will you have a wrapped gift ready to give, but you may also win this lovely Printshop by Studio Calico prize, courtesy of American Crafts:

Good luck, and happy wrapping!
