You and Me by Kimberly

Hello everyone! Kimberly here to share with you my favorite layout with this our September kit: Photo Goes Here with add on’s from Snap Shot

I love creating unique embellishments from already pre-made embellishments. It’s a fun twist to adding something fun and different to something that is already made for us to create with. For example. With this layout, I created banners with the die cut film frames, as well as from the foam arrows. It’s a simple and effective way to change things up and add something new to your design.

Another way to create some fun dimension to your design, is by layering your cardstock, with the same color cardstock and add a little ink around the edges, and maybe even using some decorative border punches like I used on mine.

Another way to create dimension in your layering/stacking, is to use pop dots. They are my favorite way to layer. This also shows you how I bend the edge to create more of a drop shadow with my border edge.

Here is a close up of the cut up banners from the foam stickers, and die cuts for a simple border along the bottom of my photograph.

I tend to like to find a way to use EVERYTHING…even packaging with my creations. You see the fun hemp twine here? I snagged that from the Jenni B’s washi tape label. It was just the perfect touch I needed to complete this layout and make me happy.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and taking a look into my paper crafting creative brain at work. 🙂

Have a wonderful week!
